Robert Choquette Jr. was murdered in October 1998 at the intersection of Frontenac and Sherbrooke streets in Montreal, the night of his 18th birthday. This tragedy left a profound mark in Michelle Choquette's family. Robert Jr. was her nephew (son of Robert Sr. and Pierrette Lussier). To add insult to injury, it appears the murder was a gratuitous act of someone who drove a screwdriver through his head. Guy Adrien Langlois was convicted of second degree murder on September 27, 2000 and is now serving a life sentence (the following article refers and was contributed by Lucie Daoust). |
