THE CHOQUET COAT OF ARMS © :

Thanks  to Luc Fontaine, Marie-Claude Choquet's spouse, from Cap-aux-Meules, Quebec,
who greatly improved the graphic of the Choquette Coat of Arms

In 1993, while browsing through a shopping center, I purchased a «certificate» describing or explaining the patronym CHOQUET. This description is quite similar to that found in other source material.

This certificate, produced by «The Historical Research Center», contains in addition the following description of the CHOQUET Blazon of arms :

BLAZON OF ARMS :

Azure, a chevron (an inverted V) charged with three roses gules.

TRANSLATION :

The chevron denotes Protection, the roses, Beauty and Grace. Azure, (blue) denotes Loyalty, or (gold), Nobility, and gules (red),
Valour and Fidelity.

CREST :

The rose of the arms.

ORIGIN :

FRANCE.

After receiving the «certificate», I was invited by the firm «HERALDY BY DESIGN» to purchase a plaque on which the Blazon would be mounted. Recently, I scanned it in order to extract the image which you can see.

N.B. Absolutely nothing in this is official in the «Legal» sense. In adding this image to our web site, I only wanted to let our visitors see what could possibly be our Coat of Arms.
